Commercial Lending Officer- Jacksonville, FL

Primary Contacts:

This position will also interact with bank management in discussing the credit risk of loan applicants. This position also has extensive contact with existing customers, as well as prospects and business leaders within the community.

Position Summary:

This person is responsible for calling on current and prospective customers to promote new and additional business for the bank. The requirements of this job also include the development of corporate accounts, such as commercial checking; develop a personal and commercial deposit portfolio; develop a personal and commercial loan portfolio of business; responsible for assisting in the marketing, business after hour meetings, educating and selling of bank services as well as products offered through subsidiary initiates of Atlantic Coast; works directly with customers to determine the nature of their borrowing needs and examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of borrower’s applications for credit or extension of lines of credit by performing the following duties. Extended hours are required for this job.

The candidate will receive training and approximately 90 days of hands-on practice to better understand retail banking including, but not limited to transaction processing, cash handling, and customer service skills. At the end of the initial retail rotation, they will have gained in-depth knowledge of the teller and personal banker roles providing the foundation needed to progress to other departments of the bank.

After the initial 90 day retail branch rotation, the Associate will cross train in other areas of the bank including, but not limited to: Commercial Lending, Commercial Credit, Commercial Underwriting, Mortgage, and Business Banking.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will prepare and ensure credit packages are factually correct, complete, and easily interpreted by approving committees to allow the best informed decision to be made regarding risk and profitability. This position will conduct annual reviews of credits to ensure proper risk rating and early identification of problem credits.  Manages a portfolio of customers and solicits incremental business or fashions workout plans.

Graphic Design Intern- Jacksonville, FL

The ideal Graphic Design Intern will Model the Way and Lead by Example and is responsible for assisting with a variety of marketing activities including, but not limited to, working with promotional materials, communication, and event planning. They will focus on updating collateral for the bank to match with current branding strategy. This position will also have broad interaction with the Marketing Coordinator to assist with the marketing function of the bank, has contact with bank employees, existing/potential customers and vendors. Assist with overseeing placement and tracking of advertising in various media, including print and electronic, to drive sales results. Completes other duties and tasks as assigned.

The ideal Personal Banker will Model the Way and Lead by Example and will have sales responsibility in driving new business for the banking center, increasing and maintain deposit accounts as well as partnering with other lines of business to increase overall increased customer base.  The Personal Banker will be required to make calls within community to find new prospects as well as help cross sell existing customers.

This position will also be required to support the banking center by working as a teller.  They will also keep in touch with existing customers by providing the highest level of personal service, assisting with their accounts and problem solving.

Relationship Specialist- Lake Mary, FL

Primary Contacts:

The ideal candidate will “Model the Way” and “Lead by Example” and will interact directly with external clients and various vendors and third parties as needed to support and manage internal and external contacts. This position will have interaction and support with the employees within their department as well as other bank employees.

 

Position Summary:

The Relationship Specialist is responsible for supporting the SVP, Commercial Market Executive and/or the commercial banking team with supporting and managing client needs. The position deals directly with business customers as well as various departments and other members of bank management. The position provides support, training, account opening for clients as well as duties for the team. The position includes analysis of accounts, setup and implementation of deposit and loan services.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and office equipment.
  • Preferably two years’ experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is required.

Knowledge of bank operations should include the fundamentals of the financial industry, and certain process such as the check clearing process of the financial industry

Teller, Normandy Branch, Jacksonville, FL

The ideal Teller will Model the Way and Lead by Example and will interact primarily with bank customers. This position will have some interaction with all employees of his or her branch. This position provides basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with financial institution procedures, assist customers with banking needs by providing a high level of service.  This position will have sales goals to help meet Sales Center goals that will include cross selling bank products.

Promotes and informs customers of the bank’s products and services following the customer centered referral process. Be positive first contact for branch customers demonstrating the company’s commitment to the customer centered attitude. Balances daily transactions and reports discrepancies to the head teller. Develop and stay current on products, policies and procedures related to teller and vault transactions. Jointly with supervisor creates and follows a personal development plan.
